About Me

Hi my name is Yazmin, I live in Paihia and I’m a year 6 at Paihia School. I’m part maori and my pepeha is Ko Te Ramaroa toku Maunga, Ko Whirinaki toku Awa, Ko Nga Puhi toku Iwi, Ko Ngatokimatewhorua toku Waka, Ko Te Hikatu toku Hapu, Ko Te Hokianga toku Moana, No Whirinki ahau, Ko Ringa toku Papa, Ko Ruby toku Mama, Ko Kova - Rose ruako Lily - Belle no Sage toku Tana. I like learning about heaps of different things but my favourite is math and I think I’m really good at it. My challenge for this year is to achieve more goals than last year. My goal for this year is to learn all of my multiplication and division and another goal is to work even harder on my reading and writing. I’m looking forward to achieving heaps of goals and what I’ll learn through the year. I’m really excited to do more blog posts and see what happens during the year. I think I'm going to make heaps more friends through our learning groups and how we work together.
